We look forward to working with you. Here’s what you can expect from your first phone call to ask about services until the day your braces are removed to reveal your beautiful, new smile.

Contact us to request an appointment. My Forever Smile services do not require a referral. You can expect your first appointment to be within a week. We’ll help find a time that works with your schedule.

Allow about 20 minutes for your first appointment. It begins with an assistant explaining the history of My Forever Smile and how the process works. After the assistant answers all your questions, our dentists will examine you to determine if you are a candidate for braces from My Forever Smile. The doctor will estimate your treatment time. We may take x-rays at this appointment.

After your examination, you meet a Financial Consultant to discuss the total cost. We accept most insurances. For your out-of-pocket costs, we offer different payment options including a discount for paying in full before treatment begins. We also offer an interest-free, in-office payment plan and offer financing through CareCredit. You leave our office with a written copy of your costs.

Most patients choose to book their next appointment before leaving our offices. However, some patients choose to review the financial information before booking.

We require a parent or guardian be present at this appointment in order to sign the contract and make payment arrangements. Allow about 30 minutes for this visit.

If X-rays were not completed at the first appointment, they will be done now. We also take “before” photos of each patient at this appointment.

At the second appointment, we put on the first stage of braces. The most common first stage is on the top, front teeth. Before you leave, our staff will make sure you fully understand how to take care of oral hygiene while wearing braces.

At the end of the appointment, patients schedule their next two appointments.

Expect each monthly appointment to take between 20 and 30 minutes. If you are using a payment plan, we will require a payment at each appointment. Parents are encouraged to attend the monthly appointments to ask any questions they may have.

Near the end of your treatment, appointments may be scheduled more frequently than once a month.

Once the patient, parents or guardians and dentist all agree the teeth are in the proper placement, we schedule a Lacing Appointment. Parents or guardians must be at this appointment.

During the appointment, the doctor will lace the teeth, which stabilizes them for about a month before the braces are removed.

We remove your brackets, take a final set of X-rays and “after” pictures. You will leave with two sets of retainers along with wear and care instructions. Parents are required to attend this appointment.

We encourage our patients to schedule regular cleaning appointments.
